Danish jewellery king Pandora starts afresh

On Valentine’s Day, Danish jewelry retailer Pandora A/S (PNDORA.CO) Pandora announced the new CEO candidate, and P&G veteran Alexander Lacik will join the company as soon as possible.

Alexander Lacik is currently the CEO of Britax Group Limited, a high-end car seat company. According to a Danish company statement, the 54-year-old Danes want to return to their motherland.

In August 2018, two days after the launch of PNP, Pandora announced that Anders Colding Friis had stepped down as president and chairman. After Anders Colding Friis resigned at the end of August, the company’s CEO position has been vacant, and its management responsibilities are jointly assumed by CFO Anders Boyer and CEO Jeremy Schwartz. When Alexander Lacik joins, Pandora’s management will revolve around the core of the three.

Peder Tuborgh, chairman of the Danish Group, commented on Alexander Lacik as an outstanding marketer and brand designer and praised him for demonstrating in his career that he was a great leader and an efficient executive.
